Getting Started

Hi and welcome to my NovaCellist blog for the all cellists starting in a new path to musical freedom. You are about to embark on a musical journey, and I must congratulate you for coming to my blog because I can guarantee that this will be worth your time. I will always keep it short and sweet because I believe cello playing should be simple to explain. Anybody can play cello like a master. The only difference is in the rate you accomplish the technique and musicality depending on how smart you are.

Are you smart? If you said no, that's okay. I make cello playing dummy proof.

THIS IS YOUR FIRST LESSON - Start by saying you are the smartest, most talented, most musical, and most technically gifted student and musician that ever came to my studio. I will tell you myself then...You are a great cellist, and I am honored to have you as my student. If you don't believe me, I don't blame you. But, you really should...it's for your own good. You master this lesson, then everything else gets easier.

What if it is a lie? Hitler's propagandist said that any lie told many times becomes the truth. So start practicing. Practice makes perfect. Say it with conviction. Besides, does it really do any harm to you by saying these positive things?

Now off you go! Practice and use your imagination! You are the greatest cellist! Be daring and say even bolder statements! BELIEVE!!!
